AWAN FOUNDATION'S healthcare vision

Overview

We believe that everyone deserves access to the basic necessities of life, including food, shelter, healthcare, and education. Unfortunately, many people in our community face challenges that prevent them from meeting these basic needs. Our charity strives to bridge this gap by working with local organizations and community leaders to identify areas of need and develop programs that can help.

PROGRAM

Awan Dialysis Centers (ADC)

Dialysis is a life-sustaining treatment for people with end-stage renal disease (ESRD). ESRD occurs when the kidneys stop functioning properly, and toxins and waste products build up in the body. Regular dialysis treatments help filter these waste products from the blood and keep the body in balance.

Unfortunately, dialysis treatments are expensive, and not everyone can afford them. In many countries, healthcare is not accessible to all, and therefore, people with ESRD suffer and die due to lack of proper treatment.

Opening dialysis centers for charity can help to provide access to free or affordable dialysis treatments to those who cannot afford it. This can make a significant difference in the lives of people with ESRD by improving their quality of life and extending their lives. Awan Foundation plans to open a number of Dialysis Centers in selected areas. One center is near completion and is located on Grand Trunk (GT) Road in the city of Mandra (Punjab)

In addition, opening dialysis centers for charity can also help to raise awareness about the importance of kidney health and the need for regular screening to detect kidney disease early. This can help to prevent or delay the progression of kidney disease, reducing the need for dialysis treatments.

Overall, opening dialysis centers for charity is crucial as it provides life-saving treatments to those who would otherwise not be able to afford it. It can help to improve the health and well-being of people with ESRD and raise awareness about kidney health in the community.

Dialysis is a treatment procedure that helps remove waste products, excess fluids and toxins from the blood when the kidneys are unable to perform their function adequately. It is an essential medical intervention for people suffering from chronic kidney diseases. However, the costs associated with dialysis treatment can often be prohibitively expensive, making it inaccessible for many people, especially those from low-income backgrounds. This is where the role of a dialysis center for the needy comes in.

A dialysis center for the needy is an establishment that provides dialysis treatment to patients who cannot afford to pay for it. These centers are often run by non-profit organizations or charities and aim to ensure that all patients receive the necessary care and treatment, regardless of their financial status.

The centers provide high-quality dialysis treatment and other support services to help patients deal with the physical, emotional, and financial challenges that come with chronic kidney disease. They typically employ highly trained and experienced medical professionals who are dedicated to providing quality care and treatment.

Dialysis centers for the needy play a vital role in ensuring that all patients have access to the care they need to manage their kidney diseases. They provide hope and support to people who would otherwise have little chance of receiving the life-saving treatment they need.
