If this is the first time you are visiting our website, I welcome you on behalf of Awan Foundation. Awan Foundation (AF) is a non-profit organization based in Rawalpindi/Islamabad, Pakistan. AF was established in 2013.

The Mission of Awan Foundation is threefold: To facilitate the learning of students from needy families by providing them support to continue their studies, to help needy families constrained due to major sickness of the main household, and to provide IT skills to young female students living in the rural areas while creating jobs in the sector.

Let me briefly list our activities to work towards our mission since 2013 and moving forward, our plans to help such families in the communities in following areas:

• School Supplies Support
• Individual Students Support
• In reference to our second part of the mission, our research has shown that there is a great need of Kidney Dialysis Center in Pakistan due to changes in lifestyle and poor living conditions of our less fortunate part of the population. Details of such activities are provided in the specific area of this website.
• We plan to set-up Mudded (Help) centers in the rural areas of Pakistan with objectives of providing IT training the rural populations (specifically young women), using the centers for promoting and delivering Egov services, and providing job opportunities for the local rural population.

Please also visit the area of “How you can help” to assist us in implementing the above mentioned activities since it is not possible for us alone to perform such activities.
